Live Nation's Revenue Slips
BY ETHAN SMITHLive Nation Entertainment Inc. said Thursday that revenue dipped while profit held steady as the live-music company sold slightly fewer concert tickets during the critical summer season.
For the three months ended Sept. 30, Live Nation reported profit of $51.7 million, or 28 cents a share, on revenue of $1.79 billion. In the same period in 2010, earnings were $51 million, or 30 cents a share, on $1.84 billion revenue.
